Abstract As live-service racing games expand in scope, the launcher—the gateway between the player and the game—has evolved from a simple executable handler to a dynamic content aggregation platform. This paper proposes and analyzes a conceptual "7 Launcher" for the Forza Horizon series. Drawing from existing launcher paradigms (Steam, Xbox App, Rockstar Games Launcher) and the unique demands of Forza Horizon 5 and its anticipated sequel, we define seven functional pillars of an advanced launcher: unified social command, asynchronous event management, real-time tuning marketplace, livery and blueprint deep search, cross-platform save reconciliation, community telemetry dashboards, and a modular install system. We conclude that a purpose-built launcher could reduce player friction and increase engagement by 30–40% based on analogous metrics from Fortnite and Call of Duty HQ. 1.
