7 Team Double Elimination Bracket Excel [better] May 2026
Double elimination brackets are ideal for tournaments where a single loss shouldn't end a team’s chance at the title. However, a 7-team bracket is unusual because most standard brackets are built for 4, 8, 16, or 32 teams. A 7-team format requires one first-round bye and careful tracking of the losers’ bracket.
