Unlike Phoenix Wright’s static courtroom standoffs, Edgeworth roams freely in 2.5D environments. You examine objects, talk to witnesses, and use the new Logic mechanic (combining two pieces of evidence in Edgeworth’s mind). The NSP runs flawlessly. Handheld mode is perfect for the detailed sprite art and text-heavy dialogue. The remastered HD sprites are crisp, the load times are short, and the music (still iconic) sounds great. The Mixed / The Not-So-Good 1. Pacing Issues in Game 1 The first Investigations has a notorious third-case slump ( The Kidnapped Turnabout ). It drags, involves confusing airport/trade center logic, and overstays its welcome.
