Silas didn’t flinch. He reached out and tapped the grid. “Look again.”

He pushed a red disc into the top of the fourth column. It tumbled down, clicked past her black pieces, and settled into the only empty slot that mattered. Four reds. Diagonal. Immaculate.

“No,” she breathed.

But Elara was not a dropper for nothing. She had one move left — not in the grid, but in the rules.

From the shadows, a hand reached out. A grimy, familiar hand. Her brother. He wasn’t supposed to be here — he had lost his future, his will to act. But she hadn’t bet his presence . And in The Lustery, presence was enough.

Joybear crew is my favorite production team to work with and spend time with. Well written, poetic and humorous scripts motivate me to commit but also have fun playing my character. Amazing locations, smooth organization and atmosphere of understanding and respect for performers makes working with Joybear feel more like creative holiday trip. While everyone is sweet and kind, there’s no confusion about tasks, schedule, boundaries and ethics. On Joybear set I feel valued as a performer but also as fellow filmmaker. I can always expect high production value and great images of myself made by the team, I’m looking forward to future projects.
