General Al Literaturii Romane — Dictionarul
Often abbreviated as , the dictionary is the successor and significant expansion of the earlier Dicționarul literaturii române (DLR) coordinated by Dimitrie Păcurariu (1970s). The new edition, started after the 1989 Revolution, aims for exhaustive coverage, including previously marginalized or censored authors. 2. Publication History The project was initiated under the auspices of the Romanian Academy. The main coordinator was academician Eugen Simion (President of the Romanian Academy between 1998 and 2006), assisted by a large team of literary historians, philologists, and critics.
