El Presidente S02e01 Bd5 May 2026
If you thought the fall of the FIFA empire was just about corruption in Zurich, El Presidente Season 2 is here to remind you that the real blood was spilled in the Andes. The premiere, which we watched via the BD5 release (clean video/audio sync, no watermark issues), kicks off with a somber, tension-filled hour that feels less like a sports drama and more like a political thriller. When we last left Sergio Jadue (played brilliantly by Karla Souza—yes, the gender-swapped casting continues to be a fascinating choice), he was the unlikely puppet master of Chilean football. Season 1 ended with the FBI’s net closing in. Season 2, Episode 1, titled "Los Despojos" (The Spoils), does not waste time with celebrations.
