Death Reason — Harshad Mehta

Harshad Mehta, the Indian stockbroker at the center of the 1992 securities scam, died on at the age of 47. The official cause of death was multiple organ failure resulting from a massive heart attack (cardiac arrest). He also suffered from other health complications, including diabetes and hypertension, which had worsened during his prolonged legal battles and time in custody.
