Map Stronghold Crusader Extreme Official

Kael nodded. In Stronghold Crusader Extreme, the AI didn’t wait. The first wave came before his first stone quarry was dug.

Lord Kael had seen madness before—on the battlefields of the Third Crusade, in the plague pits outside Acre. But nothing prepared him for Extreme .

“You have conquered Extreme. The Snake’s head rolls in the mud. The Wolf’s bones litter the gorge. The Caliph’s fire is ash. And the lords of Crusader will speak your name not as a rival, but as a force of nature.”

A narrow, winding river canyon flanked by two massive stone cliffs. In the center, a ruined Byzantine fortress—the “Jaw.” The player starts on a small floodplain at the south end. Three Extreme-difficulty AI lords (The Snake, The Wolf, and The Caliph) begin in fortified corners of the map, each with a production engine twice as fast as normal.

Kael had no stone for a fortress. No iron for swords. Only wood, fear, and a single, insane idea.

His mangonel fired not at the enemy, but at the cliffs above the Caliph’s camp. The first shot cracked the limestone. The second sent a thousand tons of rock sliding down—crushing the Caliph’s barracks, armory, and well in one avalanche.
