Better — Movies Da.in
Most of us watch movies for the story, the actors, or the spectacle. But beneath the surface, films are speaking to you in a secret language—one your brain processes without you even realizing it.
Movies aren’t just stories. They’re the only art form where your brain completes the painting, writes the emotion, and hides the brushstrokes—all in two hours. movies da.in

Excellent case. A few months before this was published, I met Lee Ranaldo at a film he was presenting and I brought this album for him to sign. Lee said it was his “favorite” Sonic Youth album, and (no surprise) it’s mine too, which is why I brought it.
For the record, I love and own nearly every studio album they released, so it’s not a mere preference for a particular stage of their career – it’s simply the one that came out on top.
Nice appreciative analysis of Sonic Youth’s strongest and most artistic ’90s album. I dug a little deeper in my analysis (‘Beyond SubUrbia: A View Through the Trees’), but I think my Gen-x perspective demanded that.
