The movie ended. Arjun closed his laptop, heart thudding. He told himself it was just a film. Just fiction. He went to sleep. At 3:00 AM exactly, he woke to a sound.

A subtitle appeared at the bottom of the screen: "Chapter 1: The Pirate." The movie ended
His phone buzzed again. Another text: "You're doing great. The audience loves you. But remember—streaming is a contract. You clicked 'I agree' when you ignored the terms of service. Now you're the content." Just fiction
He didn't sleep that night. By dawn, he convinced himself it was pipes. Or rats. Or the cheap construction of his rented studio. He opened MyFlixer again, thinking a comedy would reset his brain. But the homepage had changed.
