Henry is refilling ice when Joel approaches him. Joel recognizes Henry from a failed acting class they both took years ago. Henry awkwardly admits he still "acts sometimes" (he doesn't). Joel, in a moment of casual cruelty, says: "You know, I used to look at you in that class and think, 'That guy is gonna be huge.' Then one day I realized — you're not talented.
