Try the game first. If it crashes on boot with a missing firmware error, then install the full 200MB PUP. Don’t assume you need it upfront anymore. Optional add-on for troubleshooting: “My game says ‘firmware 4.89 required’ but I installed the latest PUP – what gives?” Some games check a version flag. Go to Config → Emulator → Firmware Settings → manually set the fake firmware version to 4.90.
