Unblock A Person On - Facebook
The person is now unblocked. They can see your profile again, and you can search for them to send a new friend request. Method 2: Unblocking via a Web Browser (Desktop/Laptop) If you prefer using Facebook on a computer (or you’re at work trying to fix a social mistake), here’s how:
Scroll all the way down and tap Settings & Privacy . Then tap Settings . unblock a person on facebook
Open the Facebook app on your iPhone or Android device. The person is now unblocked
Next to the person’s name, click the blue link that says Unblock . Then tap Settings
That’s it. The person is immediately unblocked and can interact with your public content again. Did you know you can unblock someone directly from their profile? But wait—you can’t find their profile if they’re blocked! That’s the catch.
Whatever the reason, Facebook buries this setting deep in the menu to prevent accidental unblocks or harassment. But don’t worry—I’ll walk you through every method, whether you’re on a phone, tablet, or computer. Important Note Before You Start: When you unblock someone, Facebook will not automatically re-friend them. You will have to send a new friend request, and they will have to accept it. Also, you cannot block and unblock someone repeatedly in a short period (Facebook imposes a 48-hour cool-down period). Method 1: Unblocking via the Facebook App (iOS & Android) This is the most common method, as over 80% of Facebook users access the platform via mobile.
