Unlike the harsh winters of temperate zones, the season here—typically from December to February —is a period of pleasant relief, golden light, and perfect weather. It is, without a doubt, the most celebrated and sought-after time to experience "God’s Own Country." The Weather: A Perfect Respite The hallmark of a Kerala winter is its sheer comfort. The oppressive humidity and torrential monsoon rains have long since retreated. In their place is a sky painted in brilliant blues, dotted occasionally with fluffy white clouds. Daytime temperatures hover pleasantly between 28°C and 32°C (82°F - 90°F) , while nights and early mornings bring a refreshing coolness, with temperatures dropping to around 20°C to 22°C (68°F - 72°F) . In the hill stations, the mercury dips even further.
